We crossed hundreds of kilometers in a convoy of overland trucks, watching the landscapes transform from bustling towns to the raw beauty of northern Kenya. The journey itself was an adventure long before the starting line came into view...

Then came race day...

Under the unforgiving desert sun, runners pushed through the endless plains of Chalbi, battling heat, sand, and fatigue. Every step demanded resilience. Every kilometer earned respect. It was more than an ultra-marathon—it was a test of character...

But Chalbi was never just about the run...

It was the magical sunsets over the sand dunes. The laughter shared around camp. The stories exchanged between strangers who quickly became friends. The cultural encounters that reminded us how rich and diverse our land truly is...

As darkness fell, the desert came alive in a different way. Beneath a blanket of stars untouched by city lights, we danced, sang, and celebrated life around the bonfire. The flames lit up smiling faces while the cool desert breeze carried memories that would last a lifetime...

From conquering an ultra-marathon in one of Kenya's most remote landscapes, to exploring breathtaking sand dunes, to enjoying unforgettable campsite vibes and nights filled with music and laughter, the Chalbi Desert Ultra gave us more than a race...
